The Queen of Jhansi has now been roped in for yet another biopic. If the rumours are to be believed, Kangana will also be seen in a biopic based on the life of Arunima Sinha.
For those who are unaware, Arunima Sinha was the world's first female amputee to successfully climb the Mount Everest. The film was earlier supposed to be helmed under Farhan Akhtar’s banner but now we hear that a different production house has taken over the film.
Speaking about the film, a source close to the project told a leading daily, “The makers were to decide between Kriti Sanon and Kangana. Since the latter's schedule looked packed because she's shooting for Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, they were sceptical. But Arunima took the final call on the lead.”
The film is expected to go on floors in March next year with a straight 60 days schedule being planned. As excited as we are to see Kangana playing Arunima on screen, we totally wait for an official announcement soon.
